HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) A search is underway for a missing boater after a boat collided with a log Wednesday on the Waccamaw River in Murrells Inlet.
Murrells Inlet-Garden City Fire Rescue said the collision happened behind Longwood Drive around 10 a.m. Wednesday.
Officials said one boater went underwater and was not wearing a life vest. That person remains missing.
Another person was recovered and taken to a hospital. Their condition was not immediately available…
