Rescue crews are searching Wednesday for a missing boater after two people went into the water in the Murrells Inlet area.
Murrells Inlet-Garden City Fire Rescue responded about 11 a.m. behind Longwood Drive in the Blackmoor area where the boater was last scene, said Brennan Moore, assistant chief of training and operations with Murrells Inlet-Garden City Fire Rescue.
The two boaters are believed to be father and son, Moore said. The 66-year-old man was taken to the hospital but is expected to be OK, Moore said. The son remains missing as of 2:49 p.m…
