Drier and cooler Tuesday

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) –Temperatures are much more comfortable as you step outside this morning, especially away from the beaches. Several locations are starting in the 60s, with some spots as cool as 63°, making for a noticeably cooler start to your Tuesday.

Along the beaches, it’s not quite as cool as inland areas. Temperatures and dew points are both sitting in the mid-70s across Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach, so there is still a lot of humidity in the air.

Unlike yesterday, we’re not expecting stormy weather today. Instead, we’ll see a mix of sun and clouds throughout the day. High temperatures will remain close to average for late August, reaching the upper 80s along the beaches and the lower 90s across the Pee Dee…
