MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – The Myrtle Beach community and Broadway Street business owners raised concerns at Tuesday morning’s City Council meeting.
Speakers told council there has been an increase in homeless people throughout the area, particularly along Broadway Street. They said more homeless individuals have been seen sleeping on benches along the street and asking passersby for help.
Business owners and the community said they don’t feel safe leaving their buildings, and some people choose to avoid the area completely…
