MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — Santee Cooper customers spoke out Monday about proposed rate increases that could raise residential electric bills in both 2027 and 2028.
The utility held its final scheduled public meeting at its Myrtle Beach office Monday afternoon, giving customers one last chance to weigh in before management presents its final recommended rates to the Santee Cooper Board of Directors.
