Near record highs inland

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C (WBTW) — It’s a mild morning, with temperatures starting in the low to mid 60s. There’s no fog, and we’re looking at another mostly sunny day, beginning with a beautiful sunrise.

Temperatures will feel more like early summer. Humidity remains manageable, but highs are running well above average—by nearly 15° inland. Along the coast, temperatures will range from 78 to 80°, while Conway climbs into the upper 80s. The Pee Dee region will see highs between 89 and 91°.

Today will be close to record-high temperatures. In Florence, the forecast high is 90°, which matches the record. Overnight, temperatures will stay mild in the 60s. Record highs will remain in jeopardy for both Florence and Lumberton on Friday and Saturday…
