HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — At Lynn’s Berries in Horry County, a large pond helps keep their crops watered and ready for picking, but drought conditions throughout the state have left a dent in their water supply.
Jimmy Hammond, who owns the farm alongside his wife, Lynn, said the farm requires around 20,000 gallons of water a day, which comes from the pond.
