NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – North Myrtle Beach has selected its next fire chief.
The City of North Myrtle Beach announced that John Galganski will be the city’s eighth fire chief, effective May 16.
This news comes after the current Fire Chief, Billy Floyd, announced that he will retire in March. Floyd’s final day of service will be May 15.
The future chief said that “it is an honor,” and that he is “grateful for the trust placed in me and privileged to lead such a dedicated and professional team.”…
