MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — Members of the Myrtle Beach City Council met Thursday morning for another budget workshop, focusing on health insurance, funding for the city’s Downtown Alliance, and capital projects.
During the workshop, the downtown alliance presented its funding request of around $1.8 million. The organization slated almost half of that money to go toward keeping the downtown area safer and cleaner.
