A Conway school was selected Thursday as one of the finest schools in the state by the South Carolina Association of School Administrators.
HCS Scholars Academy High School was one of five schools named as 2026 Palmetto’s Finest Schools. The achievement is considered a top honor given out by the association.
The academy is located on Coastal Carolina University’s campus and was founded in 2003 as a way to provide talented students with opportunities that go beyond a traditional high school.
