Horry County Council advances second vote on new impact fees

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WPDE) — Residential developers in Horry County could soon pay higher impact fees, after County Council approved a second vote on updated rates Tuesday night.

Council moved forward with a proposal from Councilman Tyler Servant that would reduce impact fees for some smaller homes while increasing fees for larger homes.
