GEORGETOWN COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) — The Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a man on allegations that he arranged to have sex with an underage girl.
Wade Jacob Curry, 19, was charged with trafficking in persons, victim under 18, first offense, and second-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor.
A teenage girl told investigators that Curry would meet her at a grocery store in Pawleys Island in a white work van and have sex with her in a beach-access parking lot. He allegedly would give her vapes, which she sold at school, and would give a portion of the money back to him.
