Crews battle 2-acre woods fire on Mount Olive Road in Loris, no structures threatened

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WPDE) — Smoke and an extended firefighter presence are expected along Mt. Olive Road in Loris as crews work to contain a woods fire that burned about two acres, according to Horry County Fire Rescue (HCFR).

HCFR was dispatched at 5:10 p.m. to the 3000 block of Mt. Olive Road for a reported woods fire.
