HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — The driver of a motorcycle died after hitting a pickup truck head-on near Conway, the South Carolina Highway Patrol said.
The crash happened just after 8 p.m. on Cates Bay Highway near Faulk Circle where a Yamaha motorcycle was driving south on Cates Bay Hwy. when it crossed the center line and hit a 2021 GMC pickup head-on.
The driver of the motorcycle, 42-year-old James Howard of Conway, was taken to the hospital where he later died. The GMC driver was not injured, and the crash is under investigation by the SCHP…
