Conway considers hiring goats to maintain some city-owned properties

Conway, SC (WMBF) – Conway’s city council is considering bringing in goats to help manage the grounds of certain city properties.

On Monday, the council approved a first reading of a targeted grazing ordinance. If it passes, the city would take bids from local goat keepers to bring their animals to graze on city-owned properties to help maintain overgrown landscapes.
