NMB police make more than a dozen arrests after fights and disturbances, reports say

NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WPDE) — North Myrtle Beach police arrested more than a dozen people after a series of fights and disturbances along Main Street over the weekend, according to incident reports obtained by WPDE.

Multiple reports described officers responding to fights, crowd control problems and what police called “civil unrest” near Sky Bar, Ducks Night Life and nearby businesses.

Police said several officers suffered injuries while responding to the disturbances, and one officer was taken for medical evaluation and is expected to recover…
