LORIS, SC (WMBF) – A Loris nonprofit that lost nearly $70,000 to embezzlement is rebuilding with community support and new programs.
About a year ago, former treasurer Todd Massey pleaded guilty to embezzling roughly $70,000 from Giving Hope Gardens, which supports people with disabilities by teaching them life skills.
