MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — To celebrate Memorial Day, the city of Myrtle Beach is unveiling its new Vietnam Veterans’ Memorial in a ceremony at Warbird Park.
Project manager Chris Miller told News13 the monument is a 9-by-50-foot concrete wall with a stone veneer and brass plaques. It commemorates who built it and shows a timeline and map of the Vietnam War.
