Oak Park police arrest man for aggravated assault on officer

Oak Park police arrested a Chicago man on multiple felony charges in connection with an alleged attack on an Oak Park officer.

Police arrested the 49-year-old shortly after 9:45 a.m. June 1 on charges of theft and aggravated assault on a peace officer, according to police records. The man’s victims were an Oak Park officer and an Oak Brook resident, according to police records.
