The Oswego Police Department is partnering with the Autism Hero Project to introduce the Blue Envelope Program.
In the program, drivers who are on the autism spectrum or have communication differences can keep a blue envelope in their vehicle to hand to police. The envelope contains documents and information to help with communication during a traffic stop.
