Drunken driving charge after accident
A 64-year-old man was cited for driving under the influence of alcohol and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident at 6:30 p.m. June 12.
When police arrived in the 11100 block of West 84th Street, they found two damaged vehicles.
The driver, who had blood on his face, had slurred speech and did not know he was sitting in front of his home, police said. When asked where he was, he said he thought he was on Interstate 55 and that the year was 2025.
License and registration violations
A 35-year-old man received two tickets after he was pulled over at 7:45 p.m. June 18 in the 8600 block of Archer for having a suspended registration. He was cited for driving on a suspended license and driving on a registration suspended for non-insurance.
