Summit Girl Scout Troop 56615 is introducing its scouts to local businesses, starting with a tour of Hallett & Sons Expert Movers on West 59th Street.
The “Come with the Girl Scouts Series” is designed to give scouts a closer look at businesses in their own community, troop leader Kristina Mercado said. The program also aims to grow the troop’s membership.
“As Summit residents, we pass by Hallett often, but didn’t know much about it,” Mercado said. “This is a great way for our scouts to see what’s in their own backyard.”…
