An incident in the midday brought a portion of I-80 to a standstill.
Illinois State Police were called to the eastbound lanes near Larkin Avenue for a report of a person who was struck by a semi. Once on scene, it was determined that the person who was hit was initially involved in a crash. That driver then attempted to get struck by a semi.
