RIVER FOREST, Ill. (WGN) — A village meeting Monday evening in River Forest drew strong opposition to a proposed high-speed rail project connecting O’Hare to downtown Chicago.
In Aug., a group of Chicago business and civic leaders announced plans for the O’Hare Flyer, an electric express train that would provide 15-minute rides between downtown and O’Hare’s Terminal 2.
Residents in communities along the proposed route say they’re concerned about how the project could affect their neighborhoods.
