AURORA, Ill. (WGN) — An 18-year-old Oswego man, who police say is a confirmed gang member, was arrested for the second time in less than a week and now faces two more felony charges after allegedly confronting and threatening a stranger without provocation early Saturday morning in Aurora.
Police say Josiah Evans has been charged with aggravated battery to a peace officer, a Class 2 felony, and aggravated battery in a public way, a Class 3 felony. Those charges are in addition to one charge of burglary to a motor vehicle, a Class 3 felony, that was approved against Evans in a case from last week.

According to police, officers responded to the 700 block of South River Street around 5:30 a.m. Saturday after a man reported that he was approached by someone he didn’t know and subsequently threatened while sitting in his vehicle.
