Walsh Construction has started work on a 214-unit senior living community that is part of the redevelopment of Fox Valley Mall in Aurora, Ill.
Sophia at Fox Valley will be a five-storey, approximately 288,000-square-foot community at 195 Fox Valley Center Dr. The project is being developed by Integrated Development II in partnership with Affinius Capital and HPI Real Estate Services and Investments.
The development will include 108 independent-living apartments, 84 assisted-living units and 22 memory-care units. Solera Senior Living will operate the community when it opens, with completion currently targeted for May 2028…
