The Will County Coroner’s Office has identified Tuesday’s traffic fatality victim in Rockdale as 41-year-old Joliet resident Roberto Carlos Machado-Lopez.
Rockdale’s Police Department said that Tuesday’s 2 p.m. collision along Route 6 near Brandon Road was in fact a fatality. The Joliet police chief said it was his understanding the car crash victim was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at St. Joe’s hospital.
