We can’t seem to shake this cool weather we’ve been experiencing of late. Frost is possible for a time this morning in our area. At Walter Duncan Field in Peru, the temperature was 35 just before 6:30. One of the coldest spots was in Rockford where it was 28. Eastern Will County reported 29. By comparison it was rather warm this morning in the Quad Cities at 37 and one degree better in Peoria.
Indications are we’ll have temperatures in the 70’s Sunday and Monday before daytime highs fall back into the 50’s and 60’s for most of next week. Some showers and thunderstorms are expected Monday night…
