HAMMOND, Ind. (WGN) — Fillippo Rovito is out on $1 million bond after a federal court appearance on Monday in an alleged gambling and extortion case law enforcement officials have dubbed “Operation Porterhouse Parlay.”
As part of his bail conditions, Rovito will be placed on GPS electronic monitoring and serve home detention. He will only be allowed to leave his house for work, meeting with his attorneys and court hearings.
Other stipulations include that Rovito has to surrender his passport, cannot enter any gambling establishments, or possess drugs or weapons…
