CLAYTON, Mo. – A Las Vegas man accused of abducting his child was arrested in Illinois and the child has been safely reunited with her mother in St. Louis County, according to the Hazelwood Police Department.
The St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office charged Edaz C. Redden, 37, with child abduction. A St. Louis County circuit judge signed a warrant for his arrest on May 8 with a $20,000 cash-only bond.
According to investigators, the original kidnapping report was filed Feb. 10 by the child’s mother. Authorities said a St. Louis County judge had awarded custody of the child to the mother that same month, and a Nevada court later ruled Missouri had jurisdiction over the case…
