NAPLES, Fla. — The Naples Stormwater Beach Outfall Project is ahead of schedule, the latest update from the city confirmed.
The goal of the project is to ensure that drainage and stormwater infrastructure remains strong for years to come. The project looks to modernize aging systems that have struggled to keep pace with the demands put on the Naples coastline and deliver long-term benefits for residents, the environment and wildlife alike.
Water main work 4th Ave N and 2nd Ave S
According to the city, the water main tie-in between 4th Avenue North and 2nd Avenue South is well underway and expected to be in service by July.
The project team is also proactively advancing water main work south of 1st Avenue North ahead of the original timeline in preparation for the final phase, which includes roadway, drainage and water main work from 1st Avenue North to 2nd Avenue South. The final phase will begin in August and conclude by the end of the year.
