1. NAPLES: Couple linked to 16 month-long crime spree
Naples Police Department said officers arrested two people in a crime spree lasting the past 16 months which included a stolen BMW and golf cart, credit card and mail fraud and burglary.
Police reported on Sept. 15, that a resident on 1st Avenue South reported a burglary, when a person went into the owner’s garage and took $140 in items on Sept. 5. Earlier that day, a resident reported a stolen BMW rental from the same street. The BMW had several credit cards and personal items valued at more than $5,000.
A day later, a third resident, on Oleander Drive, reported a burglary in progress with a woman, identified as Christen Michele Cutler, 42, of Naples, fleeing. The homeowner said she saw her in her home and a bloody Mary can was open on the counter. Police found her hiding in nearby bushes. She resisted officers, and they arrested her…
