OWENSBORO, Ky. (WEHT) — An Owensboro veteran Greg Norris is planning the walk of a lifetime, from Naples, Florida, to Owensboro early next year to raise awareness for veteran suicide.
Norris spent a decade fighting fires with the Air National Guard. That all changed when he was diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2023, which doctors initially believed would only give him 6-12 months to live.
But another round of testing gave him hope. He says the tumor was an astrocytoma in which doctors were able to bring him to a stable condition…
