COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. — A Collier County jury has reached a verdict after closing arguments wrapped up Tuesday in the trial over the 2023 shooting of Scotty McCandless and Amy Chesser.
Ryan Toranzo has been found guilty of attempted first-degree premeditated murder and shooting at/within or into a dwelling/building, and Rebecca Gabay, McCandless’ ex-wife, has been found guilty of accessory after the fact for the attack along Immokalee Road on June 1, 2023.
