Craving a milkshake as the weather warms up? Bonita Springs local Brian Wasko and his family are bringing a healthier smoothie and milkshake option to Southwest Florida this year.
Connecticut-based Fresh Monkee was created in 2014 by single mother Judy Flynn who wanted to bring real ingredients back to smoothies and shakes. Wasko and his family were on the hunt for a meaningful business opportunity when they discovered Fresh Monkee in the Northeast.
“We’re really excited about this,” Wasko said. “You know, we could have done a Crumbl Cookie but in my heart and soul, I didn’t feel good about selling that. We knew if we were going to grow and start a new business that we wanted to do something that’s actually healthy.”…
