But for Hopsized Brewing Company, that story became reality when its Chargie Blonde Ale claimed gold at the World Beer Cup and became a moment that placed a Bonita Springs brewery among the world’s best.
The name “Chargie” was inspired during a trip to the Turks and Caicos Islands when the song ‘Come Closer’ by Wizkid featuring Drake came on with the lyric, “What would I do without you, my chargie?”
