NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — Metro Council voted Tuesday night to reject the proposed Fiscal Year 2027 budget for Nashville’s Central Business Improvement District (CBID) following a lengthy debate over downtown safety, oversight, and accountability.
The CBID helps fund services in downtown Nashville, including street cleaning, beautification projects, safety programs, and other initiatives designed to improve the visitor and resident experience.
