GOODLETTSVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Greenbrier Police Officer Matthew Hillis is glad to be alive after he had a seizure while driving and crashed his patrol SUV into a home last month.
“I made it around the second turn and my body tensed up,” Matthew said. “My vision, everything just went different colors and kind of disappeared, and the only thing I could think of was ‘I got to stop the car.’ And after that, I don’t remember anything.”
Miraculously, Hillis made it out of the crash without life-threatening injuries, but when he got to the hospital, doctors discovered what caused the seizure — a massive brain tumor…
