CHRISTIAN CO., Ky. (WSMV) – A man was flown to a Nashville hospital Friday afternoon following a crash involving two tractor-trailers on Interstate 24 near the Tennessee and Kentucky state line, according to WKDZ Radio.
Citing Christian County emergency personnel, WKDZ reports that the crash happened when two tractor-trailers collided in the eastbound lanes of I-24, causing one of the drivers to become trapped.
The driver was then reportedly extricated from the vehicle and taken by EMS to a helicopter that flew him to a Nashville hospital. WKDZ said the driver had suffered severe leg and hip injuries…
