NELSON COUNTY, Va. (WDBJ) – The Nelson County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s assistance in searching for a missing man.
Dean Hudson was last reported seen July 16, 2026, at approximately 6 p.m. in Nashville, Tennessee, having been discharged from a Nashville hospital, according to deputies.
Deputies say Hudson was expected to depart Nashville by bus July 16th with a destination and arrival in Lynchburg July 17th. Hudson did not arrive as scheduled, and his family has not had contact with him, according to deputies.
Nelson County Sheriff’s Office says they have been in contact with authorities in Nashville on behalf of Hudson’s family. Deputies say Hudson is considered to be ‘Missing and Endangered’ and may be in need of medical assistance…
