A Franklin nurse has lost his Tennessee license after state health officials say he sent sexually explicit text messages to patients he had treated and, in at least one case, tried to swap controlled substances for nude photos.
The move comes after complaints involving three patients and cuts off his ability to practice in the state while the Board of Nursing continues disciplinary proceedings.
Department of Health records obtained by FOX17 identify the nurse as Rex Edwards Sparks, who was based in Franklin.
