According to an arrest affidavit from Tuesday, August 18, 2026, detectives officially charged 35-year-old Deshawn Joyner with criminal homicide, stemming from the shooting death of 19-year-old Pablo Ical-Caz on November 19, 2022.
Officers found Ical-Caz deceased inside a burned blue Kia in the parking lot of the Southern Hills Condominiums on Wallace Road. Officers reported that half of Ical-Caz’s body was covered in burns and that he had a single gunshot wound to his upper right chest. He was declared deceased at the scene.
