NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Police are searching for a person who allegedly tried to steal their Uber driver’s cell phone and then shot at the driver as they fled.
Metro Nashville Police said that the Uber was a silver Nissan that picked up the suspect, who was looking to be dropped off in the 3000 block of Dickerson Pike. When they arrived at the destination, the suspect allegedly tried to change the drop-off location and then grabbed the Uber driver’s cell phone and ran off on foot.
The driver chased the suspect to Duke Street, at which point the suspect allegedly turned around and fired several shots at the driver with a handgun…
