NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A pedestrian is dead and a road is temporarily blocked following a crash in South Nashville Tuesday evening.
According to Metro Nashville dispatch, the incident was reported at the intersection of Fesslers Lane and Murfreesboro Pike at approximately 5:38 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 1.

A Metro Nashville Police Department spokesperson told News 2 that a wrecker turning left onto Fesslers Lane hit a man who was walking. He reportedly died at the scene.
Law enforcement said the road will be closed until further notice, adding that the medical examiner is on the way.
