NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A man wanted for homicide in early 2025 in Nashville is dead after authorities tried to arrest him in Atlanta Tuesday.
Genesis Denton, 32, was wanted in connection with a deadly shooting that stemmed from an armed robbery at the Mall at Green Hills on Feb. 4, 2025.
Denton was robbed at gunpoint of Louis Vuitton merchandise in the Green Hills mall parking lot. He was confronted by 30-year-old Omari Moore and Emmanuel Easley, 30, who were in a Tesla. Moore exited the passenger side of the Tesla and confronted Denton while holding a handgun with an extended magazine.
