Mt. Juliet man faces prison time for allegedly stealing 80K donor records from human trafficking charity for foot nonprofit

MT. JULIET, Tenn. (WKRN) — A Mt. Juliet man is facing five years in prison and a civil lawsuit for allegedly stealing the contact information of more than 80,000 donors to enrich himself and his own nonprofit.

Andrew “Dru” Collie was hit with a federal felony charge Thursday for unauthorized access of a protected computer, a felony charge carrying a max fine of $250,000 and five years in prison.

The donor records belonged to Hope for Justice (HFJ), a global nonprofit with a headquarters in Nashville.
