MADISON, Tenn. (WSMV) – A 14-year-old girl was attacked with a hammer Thursday morning while sitting on a bench outside her home at Gibson Creek Apartments, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD).
The attack happened just before 6 a.m. as the girl was waiting to go to school, according to Valencia Phillips, the child’s neighbor.
