Alleged Hall of Fame Village shooter arrested

NASHVILLE , Tenn. (WJW) — The suspect in a Sunday, March 3, shooting at the Hall of Fame Village in Canton has been caught in Tennessee, according to U.S. Marshals.

Darryl Harmon, 35, was arrested in Nashville, Marshals announced Tuesday afternoon on social media .

What caused the Facebook, Instagram outages?

Harmon was wanted on a charge of felonious assault, accused of shooting a 40-year-old Akron man during an argument at the venue, striking him in his lower extremities. He then fled in a pickup truck, authorities said.

The victim was transported to a nearby hospital.

Authorities on Monday announced reward money was available for information on Harmon’s whereabouts.
