NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Middle Tennessee first responders are heading to assist with the flooding situation in Houston. Members of Tennessee Task Force 2 deployed a Type 1 Swiftwater Search and Rescue team on Sunday to Bryan, Texas, for 14 days, according to the Nashville Fire Department/Nashville Office of Emergency Management. They will aid with water rescues and other emergency responses.
