At least 1 dead after crash on I-40 in Davidson County

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — At least one person was killed in a multiple-vehicle crash on Interstate 40 in western Davidson County Monday morning.

The crash happened around 6:30 a.m. in the westbound lanes near mile marker 193/McCrory Lane exit.

According to the Tennessee Department of Transportation, the westbound left lane and shoulder is blocked and the eastbound left lane and shoulder is blocked. It is not known when the roadway will fully reopen to traffic.
